The purpose of a Special Permit is to control uses which may be appropriate, depending on the location and the manner in which the use is developed and operated.  Special Permits are generally for uses specified in the Zoning Bylaw which require the highest degree of scrutiny by the Planning Board.


To file a Special Permit you will need:

1. A certified abutters list from the Assessors Office (781-270-1650)

2. Completed Special Permit Application

3. A brief descripton of the proposed use

4..(3) 11" x 17" paper copies of the Floor Plan

5. (3) full size (24" x 36") folder paper copies and I electronic
pdf of the approved site plan

All Applications mus be filed in Viewpoint
